If you are looking to pick up a 2023 Chevy Traverse, you get to choose from 6 different models. The baseline model is known as the LS. Even though that’s the start of the lineup, it comes with good-to-have features like keyless entry and push button start/stop features. The cost difference between the two is around $2,000. The variant you pick totally depends on the way you are looking to drive this vehicle.
If you are looking to take it out on deserts or any kind of offroading, then you should definitely spend the extra money and get the AWD model. However, if you are gonna stick to the tarmac roads, you can definitely save $2000 by going in with the FWD model.
Color options
The color options might vary depending on the model you pick. The basic color options include Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic, Black Cherry Metallic, and Sterling Gray Metallic. Chevrolet Traverse 2023 comes packed with features and class-leading specifications. While not all features are available across different models, there are some features that are standard. Safety and security features have mostly been kept standard whereas good-to-have features like a Panoramic Sunroof are limited to specific models.

All the Traverse 2023 models are powered by the same 3.6L DOHC V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. It is a slightly less powerful engine than the V8 found on the Chevrolet Tahoe. This is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. On the AWD model, you will get a jaw-dropping fuel tank capacity of 82 liters, whereas the FWD model gets to carry 73.5 liters of fuel.

Limited to Chevrolet Traverse Premier & High Country
While the Sunroof comes standard on the High Country, the other models get it as an optional upgrade. Similarly, ventilated seat feature comes standard on this model and comes as an option for Traverse Premier buyers. Some of the features that you will only find on the High Country include sill plates and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels.
There are some features that are only made available on the Premier and the High Country models. The two models come with a power, programmable, hands-free liftgate with Chevrolet emblem projection. Furthermore, these models come with features like chrome roof rails, power tilt, telescopic steering, and a Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system with an 8-inch diagonal HD color touch-screen.
Lastly, both car models come with memory settings for the power driver seat, exterior mirrors, and power tilt and telescopic steering column.
